Thoroughbred Wellness & Recovery is hiring a Business Development Representative for it's facilities located in Cartersville and Marietta. The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients. This role involves prospecting, lead generation, and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers to drive growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Candidates must have an established network of referral sources and a proven track record of generating business within the mental health and substance abuse treatment industry. This role requires the ability to leverage those connections to drive client admissions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Qualifying Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their needs and qualify their interest in Thoroughbred Wellness and Recovery's services.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and tours referral sources and with qualified leads.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and referral sources to build trust and credibility.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system and provide regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for reaching target markets and achieving sales objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the substance abuse and or mental health arena.
- Skills:
- -Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- -Proven ability to generate leads and convert.
- -Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- -Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- -Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- -High level of self-motivation and resilience.
- Valid driver’s license, maintain auto insurance and have access to automobile.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Primarily field based, requiring frequent travel to meet with referral partners, attend networking events, and conduct community outreach.
- Some time will be spent in an office setting for administrative tasks, documentation, and team collaboration.
- The role may require flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evening or weekend events based on outreach opportunities.
