About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior-level professional to lead our quality assurance automation testing team. Joining our fast-growing company offers the opportunity to make a meaningful and immediate impact on our organization and the healthcare providers who rely on our platform. As the Lead QA Automation Engineer, you will drive the development and execution of our automation testing strategy, processes, and tools. In this role, you will lead the automation testing team, refine existing practices, and align testing methodologies with both technical and business objectives. This position demands a forward-thinking mindset, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills to advance our automation testing initiatives and uphold the highest standards of application quality.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can quickly adapt to our solutions, technology, and the Medicare Care Management domain while bringing a visionary approach to enhancing quality and processes. We value candidates who champion Agile Software Development principles (Scrum / Kanban, epic / user story-based requirements, test-driven development, continuous integration) and demonstrate innovation through strong situational analysis, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to think creatively.
What you"ll do
- Define, implement, and optimize automation testing strategies and frameworks focusing on test architecture, re-usability, stability, optimal performance, and scalability
- Lead and mentor the QA automation team to achieve high performance and collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with development goals
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance quality and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools to keep our practices innovative
- Enhance our automation methodologies to ensure higher quality delivery and test coverage
- Create test coverage documentation, test execution plans, and metrics reports
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans to ensure higher quality test coverage throughout the development and UAT development life cycles
- Advise Senior Leadership on status, risks, and their resolutions as they relate to automation testing and quality assurance in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as requested and assigned
