Role and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
- 1 years experience Field Applications
- Actively promote safety as the company’s number one priority.
- Perform all standard painting functions.
- Provide any assistance necessary to ensure your team members work safely as well.
- Identify and properly use, inspect and maintain personal protective equipment, including but not limited to: boots, glasses, hardhat, gloves, face shield, goggles, leathers, earplugs.
- Ability to assist with developing and maintaining all equipment maintenance records in an organized manner as directed.
- Ability to assist with equipment maintenance, including washing and cleaning equipment as directed.
- Ability to clean up work area during and after completing jobs and know correct method of disposal of waste as directed.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
- Be willing and able to work a variety of schedules on-call, including dayshift, nightshift, weekend and holidays, and also be willing to travel and work out of town when necessary.
- Ability to assist with general duties as directed.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Clarity of vision at varying distances to perform various work assignments.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized tools and equipment.
- Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Climbing ladders and working from heights as necessary.
- The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
