We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Data Management team. In this role, you’ll drive the strategy and execution for our data connectivity, modeling, query generation, caching, and data catalog & other ecosystem integrations. You’ll play a critical role in enhancing our platform's ability to seamlessly integrate with various data sources and optimize performance, ultimately delivering a superior user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for ThoughtSpot’s Data Management area, focusing on data connectivity, modeling, query generation, caching, and integrations.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing data solutions.
- Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Ensure alignment of product initiatives with overall company objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Evangelize ThoughtSpot’s data platform vision and capabilities both internally and externally.
- 10 years of experience in analytics or data, with a deep understanding of data platforms, business intelligence, and ecosystem integrations.
- 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, with a proven track record of managing complex product portfolios.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding teams through ambiguity and scaling products. Experience working across time zones is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses, big data technologies, and data modeling.
- Proven ability to drive product strategy and execution in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt).
- Prior experience in a high-growth startup or rapidly scaling business.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and its applications in data and analytics.
