Job Details
Title- ServiceNow Developer
Location- 100% Remote
Contract- Long Term Contract
Must Haves from Manager:
6-8 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 6 years of experience with a Masters Degree
SNOW Admin Cert
Preferred but not required: SNOW Developer Cert
ITSM, CMDB, and Flow Designer.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop custom catalog items with flow designer.
Maintenance of existing catalog items with workflow.
Integrate ServiceNow applications with 3rd party vendors.
Rapidly prototypes for new projects.
Design and develop solutions that leverage ServiceNow applications like ITSM, CMDB and its integration, Hardware Asset Management Professional, Incident process and Customer Service Management Case .
Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Automation of manual tasks.
Responsible for the development of ServiceNow Applications and integration to other applications and platforms; including aligning with architecture, languages, best practices and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
Provide strong development and project on-track and on-task and collaborate on an ongoing project in both new and enhancements development between engineers, developers and other team members.
Follow, maintain and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures and process throughout ServiceNow development as per ServiceNow standards.
Support deployment as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with 7 10 years of relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
At least 6 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure.
At least 4 years of ServiceNow development.
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.
Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5.
Assist establishing coding standards to help with consistency.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems through SOAP or REST web services.
Experience using Flow Designer.
Experience using UI Builder.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
ITIL v3 Foundations Certification a plus.
Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, HTML.
Experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery.
Integration experience (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML).
Ability to be a self-starter, willing to expand knowledge within ServiceNow, and multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Experience or familiarity with Agile development and testing methodology.
