POSITION OVERVIEW
The Systems Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and administering ThreatLocker's computer server and network infrastructure. The primary goal of the Systems Engineer is to maintain and monitor the company's infrastructure hardware, software, and other related systems. The ideal candidate will need a strong understanding of Windows Server 2019, Hyper V Server, SQL Server and network infrastructure and network hardware.
JOB SCOPE
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to :
- Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including system software, applicants, software, hardware, and configurations
- Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
- Protects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, software, and other network and system problems
- Monitors system and network performance using PRTG.
- Perform SQL queries to maintain optimal SQL performance
- Designs, configures, and tests networks, systems, and operating system software.
