What you'll do as a People Business Partner

Employee Centricity

  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires into the organization.
  • Support with recruitment process where needed including candidate selection and offer management.
  • Serve as the point of contact for local employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive work environment.

Data & reporting

  • Maintain accurate People records and oversee other relevant administrative functions.
  • Use KPIs and metrics to diagnose critical issues affecting local business functions and design appropriate solutions.
  • Role Specific knowledge

  • Implement and localize global People policies and processes, ensuring they meet the needs of the local office while adhering to global standards. Provide feedback to the wider People team on local trends, challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensure People operations comply with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Partner with legal teams as needed to address employment-related matters.
  • Participate in global HR projects and lead some of the initiatives as required
  • Assist with organization and administration of the learning and development and talent management programs.
  • Provide advice and coaching to the Line Management population ensuring consistency and adherence to local legislation.
  • Manage all in country employee relations cases to satisfactory outcome.
  • In conjunction with payroll, manage all state reporting requirements for tax purposes and organize visas as required.
  • Ensure comply with all State and Federal employer legal requirements.
  • Strategic impact

  • Lead on employee engagement initiatives and surveys, working with local leaders to develop plans that address concerns and improve overall engagement scores.
  • Assist in creating and implementing a local reward strategy, including managing pay reviews, bonus payments, and flexible benefits.
  • Design, lead and implement a range of business wide priority People projects and drive engagement activities.
  • Proactively suggest new and improved ways of working
  • What you'll bring to the role

  • Proven experience working as People generalist covering HR operations, compliance, performance management, employee relations, recruitment and training and development.
  • Strong Communicator : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to connect with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience with a growing technology company or, preferable, a fintech business.
  • Strong attention to detail.Ability to develop trusted relationships, credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of and / or led as appropriate the planning, design, delivery of cross HR-functional initiatives including developing departmental / local people plans that align to the overall people strategy.
  • Able to work independently and in a team-based setting.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and ability to work well with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving as well as conflict management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align People initiatives with business objectives, translating strategy into plans for execution.
