Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hard-working Portfolio Trader / Client Service Specialist to join our team. The job entails handling a wide range of client service and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting trades/rebalances for client portfolios, providing support to the Wealth Advisors, and assisting clients with various account needs.
Responsibilities
- Respond to Wealth Advisor Inquiries
- Learn the trading software platform (Advyzon)
- Invest daily deposits according to client portfolio specifics
- Raise cash for requests or monthly withdrawals according to client portfolio specifics
- Analyze certain investment funds
- Assist in running performance reports
- Make the all-important first impression of our firm's service by onboarding new clients, transferring their assets over, etc.
- Process client requests such as account changes, beneficiary updates, distributions, and gifting transactions.
- Work closely with our custodians Charles Schwab and Fidelity
- Assist with client questions / requests
- Support firm-wide initiatives and assist with company projects as needed.
- Work closely with the partners to oversee day-to-day operations of the firm.
Experience
- Trading experience
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment management practices (Mutual Funds, Equity, Fixed Income)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work as a team
- Experience with Schwab or Fidelity (or other custodian)
- Series 65 or Series 66 are preferred
- Client service skills with the ability to build trust and strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive problem solver with excellent follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to function effectively under occasional pressure and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Proven experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry is preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
