Three Beans Cafe is a unique experience that blends the welcoming ambiance of a coffee cafe with the sophisticated allure of a modern cocktail lounge., emphasizing efficiency, speed, and a hospitality-forward approach. Every interaction is designed to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly without compromising on quality or personalization.

Operating seven days a week, the cafe features distinct operating hours that cater to both daytime and evening crowds. From 10 AM to 12 AM Sunday through Thursday, and extending to 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, Three Beans Cafe seamlessly transitions from a bustling coffee hub during the day to an inviting lounge in the evening.

Job Summary We are seeking passionate and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Baristas, Bartenders, and Support Staff. The ideal candidates will have a love for coffee and cocktails and a commitment to providing exceptional service. In these roles, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, processing transactions, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. These positions require excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, cocktails, and other menu items according to established recipes.
• Operate the RPower point of sale system and cash register accurately to process customer transactions, including cash and credit payments.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, spirits, and other supplies; assist in restocking as needed.
• Adhere to food and beverage safety standards and regulations to ensure the highest quality of service.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.
• Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently handling multiple orders during peak hours.
• Assist with cashier duties, including reconciling cash drawers and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Prepare and serve cocktails with precision and creativity to meet customer expectations.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in bar and cashier areas.

Skills

• Proficiency in using RPower point of sale system or similar cash handling systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, cocktail crafting, and beverage service is preferred.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with food and beverage safety practices in service settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or bartending is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barista or Bartender with a strong understanding of coffee and cocktail preparation.
• Proficient in using POS systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong time management abilities and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices in a food service environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
