Role Description
Assistant Produce PIC will trim, wrap and merchandise raw produce for sale and provide and ensure exemplary customer service and satisfaction. Additional duties include assist with scheduling and supervising team members within the Produce department and assuming responsibilities of the PIC in their absence.

Role Description
Assistant Produce PIC will trim, wrap and merchandise raw produce for sale and provide and ensure exemplary customer service and satisfaction. Additional duties include assist with scheduling and supervising team members within the Produce department and assuming responsibilities of the PIC in their absence.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Reworks display case to assess daily production needs and rotates product.
- Determines merchandising plan, product selection, and order quantities to optimize sales.
- Determines product quality for mark downs and culling to optimize quality and minimize shrink.
- Trims, soaks, and prepares product for display.
- Stores and rotates stock.
- Brings cases of produce from cooler to prepare for display.
- Cleans and sanitizes area throughout the day.
- Performs duties to comply with health code, such as sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures.
- Project sales and schedule labor to comply with established and/or directed standards and goals
- Assists with front end duties as necessary.
- Assists in other departments of the store as necessary.
- Assumes responsibilities of the Produce PIC in the absence of the Produce PIC.
- Performs other functions as necessary or assigned.
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- 5 years of produce experience preferred
- Food Handling Certification as required by local government.
