Job Summary
The Preschool Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This leadership role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education, effective management skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the preschool's mission. The ideal candidate will possess a background in education administration and demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities to guide staff and foster positive relationships with families.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of preschool operations, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and compliance with state regulations.
- Educate and mentor teaching staff to enhance their professional development and improve classroom practices.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability while providing quality education.
- Implement strategic planning initiatives to promote growth and enhance the quality of educational programs.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, addressing concerns and promoting family engagement in the preschool community.
- Collaborate with community organizations to establish partnerships that support the preschool's mission.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, particularly in early childhood education.
- Strong management skills with an emphasis on budgeting and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of current trends in early childhood education and best practices for program development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, parents, and community members.
- A passion for educating young children and a commitment to fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
Educational Requirements
- An associates degree from a recognized university in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Directors Credential
Hours
- Hours of work are subject to change according to the need of the Academy. Candidate should be available Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM.
- Community events will be hosted quarterly on a Saturday.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
