Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Manager is a registered nurse who has responsibility for the supervision and management of patient care, nursing personnel, and unit operations. supporting clinical and non-clinical team members, both within the department and across the organization ED Manager helps ensure the 24-hour delivery of high-quality services, manages resources and people, quality and performance improvement and serves as a role model for Three Crosses Regional Hospital values and mission. The Emergency Department Manager may provide direct patient care as needed and maintains an expert knowledge base for nursing practice. This position consults with staff to monitor clinical practice, works with staff to effect change, and performs customer service. The position is also responsible for oversight of general administrative duties such as payroll, performance evaluations, recruitment and scheduling.
Minimal Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in nursing from and accredited school of nursing
- 1 years of leadership experience in an acute health care environment
- 2 years of nursing experience in an acute health care environment
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Must be able to meet Employee Health Requirements
