- Responsible for providing echo tech ultrasound imaging of patient’s heart for assisting physicians with the diagnosis of patient.
- Performs Transthoracic Echo cardiograms that accesses heart functions, wall motion abnormalities and abnormal valve velocities.
- Assists and performs trans-esophageal echo cardiograms.
- Performs Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo tests.
- Enters data and maintains a variety of reports, files and records to ensure accuracy. May assist with basic clerical functions as requested.
- Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Echo Tech Education and Experiences Job Requirements:
- Minimum: Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCI
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- One (1) year of experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
- ARRT (Ultrasound), CCI, or ARDMS Certification
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications ( American Heart Association)
