At the administrative direction of the Imaging Manager and the clinical direction of the Radiologist, independently performs majority of exams with minimal supervision done within the section of radiology. Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to healthcare organizations. Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care. The ability to retrieve, communicate, and present data and information both verbally and in writing is required. Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written work. Must be flexible with work schedule.
The incumbent will carry out her/his duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of Three Crosses Regional Hospital, and fully supports the mission, vision, and values of Three Crosses Regional Hospital. The incumbent will have knowledge of health care systems, and have demonstrated ability to interact, relate to, work with, and support the activities of a diverse workforce.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician
- Properly record patient information and maintain EHR
- Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment
- Assist with general patient care if needed
- Attend staff meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Required: Associate degree from an Accredited Radiology Program
- Required: At least 1 year experience, preferably in a hospital environment
- Required Meet all Employee Health Requirement
- Required: Must be ARRT (R) registered
- Required: Active Radiography (RRT) NM MIRTP Licensure (Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program)
- Required: Current BLS (CPR)
