Family Assistant/Nanny

Three Flamingos Agency is working with a busy family to find them a long term Family Assistant/Nanny!

Days: Monday-Friday; weekends as needed

Time: Monday-Friday, 2:00-6:00; some weekend evenings/afternoons/overnights

Pay: $30-35/hr, but flexible for the right candidate, depending on experience Children(s) ages: Girl 7 years; Boy 10 years

Description:

A busy family is working with Three Flamingos Agency to find them a long-term Nanny/House Manager for their family!

Mom and Dad are active and involved parents to a girl, 7 and boy, 10. They are seeking a Family Assistant/Nanny who could work Monday-Friday, 2:00-6:00 with flexibility for weekend evenings/days and overnights as needed. The family would really appreciate a mature Family Assistant/Nanny who has ideally worked with families in this type of role for at least 5 years, has grown children of their own, or has an amazing work ethic and the ability to learn quickly.

Their children are in school daily until 3 pm. During the hours without the children present, candidate would be responsible for House Management duties such as light cleaning, laundry, errands, meal prep, cooking, organizing, and helping Mom with daily tasks as things come up. At 3 PM, children would need to be picked up from school and brought home or to afternoon activities. Mom is a stay at home Mom, so she will primarily be the one picking up children from school. The ideal candidate would be someone who can collaborate with Mom and doesn’t mind acting as her right hand while helping to tag team. The family is very focused on finding a Nanny/Family Assistant who has experience working with children of an older age and being able to run a household efficiently and with little guidance. They value longevity and would love to employ this candidate for years to come (their current nanny has been with their family for several years). The family sees this role as an extension of them and would love for their nanny to feel like a part of their family for years to come. This is a long term position with the opportunity for growth in the future. Candidate will be given ample PTO, reimbursement for gas, as well as guaranteed hours. Extra hours are available if desired. The opportunity to travel with the family is available, but is not required for this role.

Duties of this role would include, but are not limited to:

- all aspects pertaining to childcare

- laundry

-meal prep and cleaning up of any messes made throughout the day- running errands-transporting children from school and to activities

-maintaining the overall cleanliness of the common areas of the home

- ensuring the absolute absolute safety and well being of the children

- working collaboratively with family to ensure that children’s care goals are being met

Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to provide their own transportation.

All candidates must:

- be able to provide at least 3 references related to this role

- have a valid and clean drivers license

- be able to pass a comprehensive background check

- be willing to grow with a family and value longevity

- have at least 3 years of childcare experience

- have CPR certification or be willing to become certified
