Volunteers NEEDED in Henderson TX, Tyler TX, Carthage TX
NOTE: VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT PAID EMPLOYEES AND DO NOT RECEIEVE COMPENSATION FOR THEIR TIME
Hospice Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice team, filling roles that range from direct contact with the patients to providing clerical support for the organization.
Hospices that participate with Medicare are required to utilize volunteers along with their paid clinical and administrative staff. Hospice Volunteers describe their work as gratifying intellectually stimulating and emotionally meaningful.
I have a hospice patient in Henderson Texas who is needing an EVENING time Volunteer to sit from 3pm-6pm or so. something you wouldn't mind doing after work please reach out to me.
Hospice requires volunteers to undergo a background check (Paid for by the company) and for those volunteers doing direct patient support a 2- step TB test is also required and paid for by Three Oaks Hospice.
