What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Volunteer NON PAID position at Three Oaks Hospice?
Position Type: Volunteer (Non-Paid)
Weekly Volunteer Needed:
We are looking for a weekly volunteer (Every Thursday) to assist a patient with light house keeping and making him lunch. Examples of house keeping include but are not limited to: vaccuming, put away laundry if needed, washing/drying laundry, mopping, sweeping, taking out trash and dishes.
Requirements:
- NON-PAID position – This is a volunteer role.
- A background check and tuberculosis (TB) screening are required.
- Screening and paperwork can be completed at our Three Oak Hospice office located in Tyler
- Must be compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to helping others.
- No prior healthcare experience required – we provide training and support.
