The Caregiver for Memory Care supports our mission and values by assisting residents with personal care such as dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and ambulation to encourage independence, according to resident service plan and established procedures.
What will I do in the Caregiver role?
- Assist or supervise residents with personal care in a way that supports the highest level of independence.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to supervisor and / or Assistant Director of Nursing.
- Provide timely, accurate documentation for individual service plans, medication records, and activity records.
- Supervise self-administration or administer medications per physician order.
- Assist with daily housekeeping chores to maintain a clean, safe environment. Sort laundry as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving and cleaning of kitchen and dining room.
- Plan, conduct and support leisure activities as identified on individualized service plans.
