Job Title : DH Maintenance Technician II

Client : Aerospace Industry

Location : Carson City NV 89706

Duration : FullTime Position

Shift : 1st Shift 6 : 30 AM 3 : 00 PM (MonFri)

Pay Range : USD 27.00 / hr USD 35.00 / hr

Qualifications :

  • Position based on experience / qualifications (Maintenance II or III).
  • Must have electronic technician experience.
  • Maintain / repair machinery (engines motors conveyor systems production machines).
  • Perform maintenance on facility structures.

Education & Experience :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 35 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.

    • Language Skills :

  • Read / interpret safety rules manuals etc.
  • Write reports and communicate effectively.
  • Bilingual (EnglishSpanish) preferred.

    • Math Skills :

  • Add subtract multiply divide using whole numbers / fractions.
  • Calculate rates ratios percentages.

    • Reasoning Ability :

  • Apply common sense to written / oral instructions.
  • Handle problems involving various variables.

    • Physical Demands :

  • Regularly use hands stand walk climb kneel and crouch.
  • Must lift / move :

    • 25 lbs regularly

  • 50 lbs frequently
  • 90 lbs occasionally
  • Requires close vision depth perception color vision and focus adjustment.

    • Work Environment :

  • Exposed to extreme heat moving parts fumes airborne particles.
  • Occasional exposure to wet conditions high places and electrical shock risks.
  • Noise level is loud.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Read blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
  • Conduct tests to locate mechanical malfunctions.
  • Inspect parts for imperfections and dimension changes.
  • Adjust repair or replace parts and instruments.
  • Install structural / functional parts in devices.
  • Use machine tools for repairs and installations.
  • Test device performance after maintenance.
  • Operate lathe drill press grinder and metalworking tools.
  • Create purchase orders for parts / machines.
  • Repair electrical equipment and use brazing / welding tools.
  • Maintain repair records and shop cleanliness.
  • Adhere to safety procedures.
  • Perform Millwright duties.

    • Salary : $27 - $35
