Job Title : Maintenance Supervisor / Supervisor III - Operations
Client : Heavy Machine Manufacturing Industry
Duration : 3 years
Location : Waterloo, IA 50703
Shift : 3rd Shift (9 : 30 pm to 6 am) Schedule : Sunday evening through Friday mornings
Hours : ~45 hours per week (overtime likely, some weekends / holidays)
Description :
- Is responsible for achieving departmental / area goals and objectives.
- Supervises semi to highly skilled production and / or maintenance employees on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products within established delivery, quality, safety, and cost standards.
- Serves as the first-line liaison between production employees and management, representing company interests with shop floor staff.
Duties :
Establishes an employee environment regarding communication, feedback, and guidance.Ensures assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instruction, and tools.Monitors Control Plans, troubleshoots workmanship problems, and supervises production activities to meet / exceed quality requirements.Administers employee policies, procedures, and work rules.Monitors performance, takes corrective action, and responds to complaints to ensure policy adherence.Determines manufacturing / distribution priorities, assigns daily tasks, and manages overtime.Plans equipment and facility maintenance to maximize uptime and capital utilization.Monitors and adjusts department budget targets.Directs continuous improvement plans and safety programs.Specific Position Requirements :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will coordinate, schedule, and provide leadership to hourly employees on non-routine and self-directed tasks to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency objectives. This position requires work primarily on the shop floor.

SAP experienceAdditional Information :
