Shift:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST
- Occasional rotational weekends (Saturdays or Sundays)
- Weekend work: 1-2 hours (not every weekend)
- Weekly hours will total 40 (can adjust weekday hours accordingly)

Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Technician Lv2
The Laboratory Technician will conduct day-to-day tasks supporting molecular biology and fermentation R&D teams. Once trained, the technician will be expected to keep up with daily activities, which include:
- Media and plate preparation
- Restocking lab supplies
- Cleaning and sterilizing glassware
- Collecting and autoclaving waste
- Maintaining lab support areas
The preferred candidate will have some lab experience, a good understanding of sterile techniques, and excellent biosafety behaviors. Strong basic math skills and the ability to operate under minimal supervision are important.
Technicians will also:
- Perform upkeep and cleaning protocols on multiple scientific equipment
- Become familiar with general equipment functions
- Participate in rotational weekend work, typically collecting samples for scientists
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- Experience: Prefer 2 years laboratory experience
- Interview: In-person interviews will be conducted
- Screening: Must complete a background check and drug test
