The Promotions Representative is responsible for greeting all guests in a pleasant, courteous and enthusiastic manner while executing daily promotions and providing general guest service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides the highest level of guest service by greeting all guests individually and pleasantly with a positive, and cheerful demeanor.
- Creates a welcoming floor presence, announcing promotions, Casino information and jackpot winners on the microphone.
- Demonstrates proactive, spontaneous, “above and beyond” approach to guest service.
- Assists in resolving guest conflicts and complaints in a fair and equitable manner.
- Develops lasting relationships with guests each time they visit.
- Makes decisions regarding valuable complimentaries based on a consideration of recorded play, earned points, comp availability and customer profitability.
- May provide drink service to guests on the floor as needed.
- Executes all promotions, drawings and functions necessary to complete promotions.
- May redeem vouchers for guests in an attempt to provide superior guests service for those guests that may need assistance.
- Assists in the development and implementation of special events and promotions.
- Maintains adequate inventory of office supplies and marketing materials.
- Exchanges coins for cash and make cash for cash exchanges.
- Maintains awareness of, and effectively communicates to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs.
- Provides information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.
- Other duties as directed by management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.

Requirements:EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY
- Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have a minimum 6 months Guest Services experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC License within 30 days of employment.
- General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
- Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
- Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
