Job Type Full-time Description
The Casino Host is responsible for identifying, developing, and sustaining quality working relationships with all guests, enhancing Players Club Members, and increasing direct marketing opportunities through hands-on experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Informs guests and potential guests of the Casino amenities through direct contact, marketing, personal invitations, private functions, etc.
- Provides the highest level of guest service by greeting all guests individually with a positive, pleasant, and cheerful demeanor.
- Accesses confidential and personal guest information requiring the highest level of protection from dissemination.
- Works with guests to increase rated play and makes sound reinvestment decisions based on the level of guest play.
- Augments special events through telephone contact and / or personal communication, attending such events and participating when appropriate.
- Working within established comping guidelines, makes sound financial decisions that could potentially affect the overall financial performance of the casino.
- Serves as Brand Ambassador with knowledge of all company promotional events and daily activities.
- Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities, and promotions to build new guest relationships and increase Players Club sign-ups.
- Assists with the preparation and execution of casino promotions, providing necessary paperwork to Marketing in a timely manner.
- Coordinates VIP gifting and tracking of inventory to ensure adequate quantities for all gifting events.
- Regularly reviews website and Dak board content to ensure accuracy and reports issues / concerns to Marketing.
- Maintains awareness of and effectively communicates promotions, events, and programs to Team Members.
- Effectively responds to all guests’ questions and concerns, including follow-up when immediate answers are unavailable.
- Compliance with all applicable internal controls and reporting requirements.
- Ensures phone calls are answered professionally and all messages promptly.
- Maintains inventory to ensure adequate quantities of all promotional and marketing supplies needed for the Casino.
- Other duties as directed by management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.
