What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Support Assistant position at Three Rivers Community Action Inc?
As the Transportation Support Assistant, you'll communicate with customers; schedule, dispatch, and communicate with Transit Operators to help people of all ages and abilities get safely to places in and around their communities such as school, work, etc., and completes the necessary documentation. You'll provide support to the Transportation Director/s and other members of the transportation leadership team.
This full-time position (40 hours per week) is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm and will be based in Plainview. Starting pay for this position is $20.40 - $22.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to abide by HIPAA regulations and Three Rivers/Hiawathaland Transit's strict policies regarding confidentiality and data privacy.
- Exceptional Communication Skills; Ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language
- Outstanding Commitment to Customer Service
- Ability to thrive in a disruptive, high stress, and fast paced environment
- 3 Years Professional Office Experience
- Current, valid driver’s license in good standing as defined by agency insurance company, unless explicitly approved otherwise by supervisor
- Current, valid personal automobile insurance, unless explicitly approved otherwise by supervisor
- Ability to pass required background study, as defined by position
- Ability to type more than 40 wpm, accurately
- Ability to answer multi-line phone system
