Job Summary:
The Special Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring the successful operation of specialized peer support programs within Three Rivers Therapy (3RT). This leadership role involves direct supervision of peer counselors, program implementation, compliance monitoring, and grant administration. Additionally, the Special Programs Manager fosters strong community partnerships, supports staff development, and ensures that services provided meet both organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Peer Program Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate peer programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and mission.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of 10-12 peer counselors, offering guidance, support, and ongoing training.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and professional development.
- Grant Data Collection:
- Design and implement systems for efficient data collection related to grant-funded programs.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on grant activities, outcomes, and impact, in accordance with grant requirements and guidelines.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary data, maintain records, and generate comprehensive reports for grant reporting purposes.
- Program Development and Enhancement:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities for program improvement, expansion, and innovation.
- Stay informed about best practices, industry trends, and relevant research to enhance the quality and effectiveness of peer programs.
- Propose and implement strategies to address emerging needs within the community served by the programs.
- Budget Management:
- Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for special programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance with funding requirements.
- Monitor expenditures, track financial performance, and provide regular budget reports to leadership.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and other relevant organizations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination and integration of special programs with broader organizational initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, etc.). Master's degree is a plus.
- 2 Years experience working as a Certified Peer Counselor
- Proven experience in program management, with a focus on overseeing peer programs and grant-funded initiatives.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a diverse group of individuals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in the behavioral health field.
- Ability to think strategically, problem-solve, and make decisions that align with organizational goals.
