We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Wellness Coach with specialized training in Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) to support individuals in achieving their overall well-being. The Wellness Coach will work with clients to develop personalized wellness plans, promote self-care strategies, and foster resilience through a trauma-sensitive approach. This role requires an understanding of holistic wellness, behavioral health, and the impact of trauma on physical and emotional health.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and support teams to coordinate client care.
- Assess clients' physical, emotional, and social wellness needs and develop tailored action plans.
- Educate clients on selfregulation techniques, mindfulness, nutrition, physical activity, and other wellness strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and support groups on trauma recovery, selfcare, and resiliencebuilding.
- Recognize signs of trauma and distress, responding with appropriate interventions or referrals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on best practices in traumainformed coaching, wellness strategies, and behavioral health.
- Certification in Wellness Coaching, Health Coaching, or a related field (e.g., NBCHWC, IAWP, ACE, or similar).
- Formal training in TraumaInformed Care (e.g., TIC certification, mental health first aid, trauma recovery training).
- Background in psychology, counseling, social work, holistic health, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, behavioral health challenges, or chronic stress.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of evidencebased wellness practices, including mindfulness, stress reduction, and holistic healing.
- Ability to create individualized coaching plans and adapt approaches based on client needs.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and motivational skills.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in wellness and traumainformed care
- Experience: Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, behavioral health challenges, or chronic stress.
