Job Summary:
- Administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care
- Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum One (1) year experience in direct patient care
- Medical Assistant - Currently be registered as Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body, BLS / CPR certification
- License Practical Nurse - Certification as a licensed practical nurse and Kentucky LPN license is required
- Possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision-making skills
