Bennett Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Washington, D.C.
Position Responsibilities :
- Financial and accounting support for the NAVSEA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs, as well as for financial and accounting activities associated with Congress, the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Navy, and NAVSEA SBIR / STTR contracting.
- Experience in managerial and cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, workload management, contracting and acquisition support, and financial document management is highly preferable.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting financial analyses to ensure efficient allocation and effective use of financial resources, offering recommendations to enhance operations, systems, and reporting is preferable.
- Understands the ability to leverage Navy ERP for financial execution tasks.
- Must demonstrate strong support in the NAVSEA SBIR / STTR business operations and various management activities, including initiatives from the SBA, Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, and NAVSEA, as well as special projects and data requests that could significantly affect the NAVSEA SBIR / STTR Program.
- Must exhibit financial management expertise, encompassing financial analysis of business programs, cost estimate development, program status reporting, and familiarity with DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Planning Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
