Shearwater Systems, LLC (Shearwater), a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester with a Secret Clearance in Montgomery, AL. We are currently searching for all levels to include Senior, Journeyman, and Junior levels.

Position Overview : Provide support services for the Cargo and Personnel Movement Product Line Family of Systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.

Position Responsibilities :

Executes software testing strategies for all phases of CPM FoS’ software releases. Ensure each release integrates and is compatible with existing SDC platforms (Junior)

Plans, coordinates, and executes software testing strategies for all phases of software releases, including coordination with appropriate / designated individuals (Journeyman / Senior)

Ensure each release integrates and is compatible with existing SDC platforms (Journeyman / Senior)

Produce and / or assist with all required test plans, reports, user documentation, and conduct all reviews following each test phase (Journeyman / Senior)

Establish and follow a test automation strategy to automate the highest percentage of test feasible and practicable within unit, functional, regression, and security tests (Senior)

Ensure database integrity during testing to include database generation and reset (when necessary) to support automation (Senior)

Junior Position Required Qualifications :

Must be a US Citizen

Active Secret Clearance

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

H.S. Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technical related field may substitute for Four years experience

Four years applicable experience

Familiar with manual and automated application test tools in AWS and Azure Cloud environments

Familiar with Agile DevSecOps concepts and methodology

Working knowledge of coding languages such as, but not limited to : .net; Java; JavaScript; Python; SQL; PL / SQL; XML; C#; YAML; Docker

Experienced in use of manual and automated application test tools in AWS and Azure Cloud environments

Familiar with appropriate task order related tools (or equivalent) such as : Jira, DevSecOps tools across all phases, Selenium, JMeter, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications : System Testing & Evaluation Specialist-Basic per DoD 8140.03M and DCWF

Journeyman Position Required Qualifications :

Must be a US Citizen

Active Secret Clearance

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

H.S. Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technical related field may substitute for 4 years experience; Master’s degree in applicable field may substitute for additional Two years experience

Eight years applicable experience

Experienced in use of manual and automated application test tools in AWS and Azure Cloud One environments

Familiar with Agile DevSecOps concepts and methodology

Working knowledge of coding languages such as, but not limited to : .net; Java; JavaScript; Python; SQL; PL / SQL; XML; C#; YAML; Docker

Experienced in use of manual and automated application test tools in DISA data center, and AWS Cloud environments

Experienced with appropriate task order related tools (or equivalent) such as : Jira, DevSecOps tools across all phases, Selenium, JMeter, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications : System Testing & Evaluation Specialist-Basic per DoD 8140.03M and DCWF

Senior Position Required Qualifications :

Must be a US Citizen
