Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Conduct night audits as required to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and record keeping.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and basic computer applications.
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
