JOB SUMMARY :
The Behavioral Health & Wellness Concierge will serve an integral role as a member of the contract team responsible for proving proactive, preventative coaching services to military Veterans, guard members, reservists, and their family members / support networks or caregivers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Responsible for assessing the behavioral health / wellness needs of participating Veterans or service members to inform the development of personal plans aimed at improving their overall well-being.
- Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and documenting all coaching sessions and related services within the case management system.
- Providing telephonic coaching to utilize motivational interviewing, solution focused techniques, and other related skills to assist clients achieve and maintain positive life changes.
- Working with clients to develop personal goal plans and identify actions steps for completing their plans.
- Making outreach calls to inform services members about available programs and to enroll them in services.
- Connecting service members to appropriate resources and making necessary referrals for facilitating goal attainment.
- Facilitating new and existing trainings related to behavioral health trends
- Attends training sessions as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Clinical background in assisting people with goal development and attainment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. and well versed in computer skills
Familiarity with social networking technologies
Excellent customer service skills as well as a strong desire to assist Veterans, their co- workers and supervisors are necessary qualifications
Minimum Education / Training Requirements : Bachelor’s degree with a current behavioral and / or lifestyle coaching certificate.
Minimum Experience : Strong preference given to experience working with military populations. Prior military experience as a service member, military spouse, or family member is highly preferred.
Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents, in lieu of stated minimums, require the prior approval of the VP, VetAdvisor Services.
Physical Capabilities : Sitting, standing, walking, and traveling to off sites; some lifting of items up to 20 lbs.

Required Licenses, Certification or Registration :
Must have obtained and submit a current, applicable, certification(s) as required. Must be able to obtain the appropriate government clearance as needed, if required.
