Position : Certified Medical Assistant
Schedule : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Shift Notes : Full-time, day shift positions, with M-F schedules.
Location : Peterborough, NH
The Certified Medical Assistant performs clinical support procedures under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor. The Medical Assistant should reflect, through personal appearance and attitudes, the professional nature of the office. Cleanliness, neatness, ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner, a caring nature, and genuine enjoyment of patients are required personal qualities of this position. Because of the nature of the work, i.e. care of patients, emotional stability is also required. Must be aware of the need for discretion and for keeping confidential all matters relating to the practice, its employees, and patients.

The facility is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital offering Medical, Surgical and Intensive Care; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; and Mental Health services. healthcare, a wide variety of outpatient services are available, including Pulmonary, Cardiac and Physical Rehabilitation; 24-hour Emergency Care; a fully equipped laboratory; and an extensive Radiology department.
