JOB DESCRIPTION
- Fed Ex Pick-up Address: Groton/New London, CT area; exact location not provided as this is a government site
- Weekly Mileage: No driving, however if needed to assist other areas resource may be required to drive
- What is the scheduled contract duration: 1 year
- Is there a chance for an extension: YES
- Is there a chance for temp to perm: YES
- What are the expected daily/weekly work hours: 7am-3:30pm 40 hours not guaranteed.
FE 4 Job Description:
- As a Field Engineer 4, you will work in a highly directed environment.
- Your assignments will include repair activities such as replaceable unit swapping, image loading, and unit testing using a detailed script.
- You will also perform other non-troubleshooting duties.
- Direction will be provided by script, help desk or service desk in a Next Business Day (NBD) and/or Same Business Day (SBD) service delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be assigned service requests to repair laptops and desktops
- Your assignments will include repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards
- You may also perform whole unit swaps, repair, or replace PC peripherals
