Position Summary: The Jr. Project Manager will serve as the internal point person assisting Project Managers in the following areas:
Must be able to lift/carry reports and materials weighing up to 40 pounds, move about the office, turn on and operate a computer, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone, in writing, or in person, complete the required paperwork and be available to work extended hours with little or no notice.
Position Summary: The Jr. Project Manager will serve as the internal point person assisting Project Managers in the following areas:
- Proactively communicate the status of projects with the Project Managers to assure potential issues are effectively communicated and handled in a timely manner.
- Ensure all components for projects have been ordered and are in house on time.
- Relay all necessary information throughout internal channels to ensure everything is on time and all channels know pertinent information.
- Keep up with all important milestones of projects and keep teams well informed at each step.
- Review all renditions, engineering drawings and Bill of Materials.
- Track progress of orders and check incoming material status to ensure timely deliveries.
- Other assignments, as determined by management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keep projects on schedule.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Understand and read Engineering Drawings.
- Ability to self-prioritize, multi-task, and appropriately handle stressful situations.
