Position Overview:
The XENTRY Hardware/Software Analyst plays a key role in supporting dealerships by providing first-level technical assistance, managing shipping and receiving of diagnostic equipment, and ensuring smooth operations for hardware and software distribution. The User Help Desk (UHD) team and this role are responsible for troubleshooting XENTRY hardware/software issues, coordinating logistics for diagnostic system shipments, and managing dealer communications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warehouse & Logistics Support – Oversee the shipping, receiving, packing, and distribution of diagnostic equipment and related hardware to dealerships.
• Technical Assistance – Provide first-level help desk support for XENTRY Diagnostic Systems, addressing hardware issues, software troubleshooting, and coding/flash concerns.
• Case Management – Log, track, and resolve dealership support cases using internal applications.
• Dealer Communication – Work closely with dealerships to coordinate shipments, address technical concerns, and provide status updates on equipment and software troubleshooting.
• Documentation & Reporting – Maintain detailed records in Excel and Outlook, tracking shipments, issues, and resolutions.
• Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline logistics, shipping, and technical support to enhance efficiency.
• Independent Project Work – Manage assigned projects with limited supervision, ensuring timely execution and effective coordination with other departments.
Qualifications & Skills:
• High School Diploma (GED) required
• 3-5 years of experience in:
• Warehouse logistics – experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management
• Technical troubleshooting – supporting hardware/software issues
• Business applications – proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and case management software
• Automotive industry knowledge – understanding of dealership service, parts, and diagnostics
• Strong communication skills – ability to interact professionally with dealerships and internal teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
