What you will do in this role :
- Assess and understand insurable risks to evaluate and select appropriate insurance products to protect company assets.
- Develop, implement, and manage tailored insurance programs for global partnerships and ventures.
- Procure and maintain insurance coverage at optimal cost and effectiveness, managing multiple programs as assigned.
- Build and maintain relationships with external brokers and consultants to support the placement of insurance products.
- Oversee daily insurance and physician underwriting operations while ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Manage policy issuance, historical maintenance, certificates of insurance, coverage analysis, and contract reviews.
- Provide expert guidance to facilities and teams on identifying and addressing risk concerns in business operations, aligning solutions with the overall insurance strategy.
- Promote insurance products and services to reduce costs and increase coverage efficiency across the organization.
- Manage physician underwriting programs and maintain accurate historical records related to these programs.
- Maximize insurance claims recovery across multiple lines, including property, auto, D&O, fiduciary, cyber, and more.
- Evaluate legal matters and claims to determine insurance applicability.
- Travel up to 25%.
