Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Utility Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our warehouse, ensuring that all distribution operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing cleaning and maintenance tasks with a passion for providing excellent support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Empty large bins across the warehouse filled with cardboard and plastic wrap
- Cleaning spills that happen within the warehouse
- Cleaning exterior areas around the warehouse, including parking lots and loading docks, as needed
- Driving small floor machine to clean warehouse aisles.
The Warehouse utility attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse by performing various custodial duties, including trash removal, floor cleaning, equipment upkeep, ensuring smooth warehouse operations by supporting waste management and recycling initiatives
Skills and qualifications:
- Basic cleaning and maintenance skills
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
