No experience is necessary for most of our Pharmacy Technician positions. We provide Pharmacy Technician-in-Training programs at no cost to the employee.
Job Description:
Provides excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business. Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients. Supports the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings. Counts, measures, and packages medication in the appropriate container under pharmacist's supervision and final approval to accurately fill prescriptions. Inputs prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.
Responsibilities:
* Provides exceptional patient care and support to ensure a positive customer experience.
* Assists pharmacists in dispensing medication, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
* Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
* Develops strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and management to foster a collaborative work environment.
* Participates in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required;
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications;
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
