Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide excellent customer service by building loyalty and repeat business.
- Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
- Support the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings.
- Count, measure, and package medication in the appropriate container under pharmacist's supervision and final approval to accurately fill prescriptions.
- Input prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
