With three locations and continued expansion-including our fourth park opening in Atlanta fall 2025-this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company!
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our Danbury location while also supporting the growth of our brand. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to manage high-volume entertainment venues. Additionally, the General Manager will occasionally travel to assist with new park openings and ensure operational consistency across locations.
Role Overview
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of park operations, including staff management, guest experience, financial performance, facility maintenance, and safety. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Danbury location operates efficiently while upholding Thrillz's standards of safety, customer service, and cleanliness.
In addition to overseeing operations, this role will require oversight of maintenance projects and troubleshooting technical challenges, such as point-of-sale (POS) and phone system issues. While you will have a maintenance team and external support as needed, you should be comfortable occasionally assisting with hands-on maintenance tasks and addressing minor technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of Thrillz Danbury, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for guests.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing training, guidance, and leadership.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, facility maintenance, and guest service standards.
- Analyze park performance, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Support the opening of new locations, including occasional travel to assist with setup, training, and operational consistency.
- Address guest feedback and resolve issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring that all equipment and attractions are functioning properly.
- Assist with basic maintenance projects when necessary and coordinate repairs with external vendors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges with the POS and phone systems, escalating issues to IT support when needed.
