Store Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
• Drive sales by implementing effective merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring staff is trained in phone etiquette and customer interaction.
• Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Unload truckload of inventory using an appliance dolly.
• Load appliances into customer's vehicles.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong sales acumen with the ability to motivate team members to achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Proficient in managing cash register operations and financial transactions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of retail management practices and strategies for improving store performance.
