Thrive Nursing currently has an immediate opening for RN/LPN for Little Rock, AR. Monday-Friday and weekend shifts available. Excellent pay. This employee will provide skilled nursing care to a ventilator dependent pediatric patient. Care is always provided in a one-on-one setting, allowing the nurse to build long lasting relationships with their clients and make a tremendous difference in their quality of lives. We desire the following skills but offer paid training to help you grow your nursing skills and resume.
- Assess patient, be able to perform, ventilator checks, trach care and suctioning
- G Tube care/feeds
- Vital signs, Administer medication
- Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing
- Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
- Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians
- Palliative care
- Make recommendations that might improve the patient’s quality of life
- Listen and respond to concerns or requests
- Other duties prescribed by physician and on clients care plan
Qualifications
- Active Arkansas nursing license in good standing
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
