Thrive Pediatric Nursing currently has an immediate opening for RN/LPN for Jonesboro, AR for FT nights, Monday - Friday & weekends. Excellent pay. This employee will provide skilled nursing care to a ventilator dependent 20 yr old patient. Care is always provided in a one-on-one setting, allowing the nurse to build long lasting relationships with their clients and make a tremendous difference in their quality of lives. We desire the following skills but will train you and help you grow your nursing skills and resume.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient, be able to perform, ventilator checks
- G Tube care/feeds
- Vital signs, Administer medication.
- Must be able to lift 100lbs
- Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing.
- Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians
- Palliative care.
- Make recommendations that might improve the patient’s quality of life.
- Listen and respond to concerns or requests.
- Other duties prescribed by physician and on clients care plan.
Qualifications:
- Active Arkansas nursing license in good standing
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
