$60,000.00-80,000 annual salary (BCBA's who have been licensed and credentialed for more than 3 years who have worked worked in a similar position for 3 years, may be eligible for a higher rate of pay

BCBA Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct Therapy (we believe all BCBA’s should provide some hours of direct therapy to clients to decrease behavioral drift) (typically less than 6 hours a week)
- Conduct relevant behavior based Assessments based on the individual client’s needs
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans/ behavior plans from assessment data
- Work with clients and design programs that target a variety of skills including but not limited to language and communication skills, learning skills, functional living skills, food aversion, school readiness, behavior reduction, behavior management, and more.
- Provide ongoing training to behavioral support staff
- Collaborate with your client’s other therapists and medical providers to provide the care they need
- Adhere to the BACB’s code of ethics and Thrive’s code of ethics
- Support Thrive Team members through encouraging words and actions
- Maintain a clean/organized work environment
- Work with insurance companies on all required initial authorization documentation and re-authorization documentation
- Work as a Thrive Team member who values team ideas and input.
- Collaborate with other Thrive BCBA’s and BCaBA’s
- Provide individual and group parent training
- Spread the word about ABA therapy and how it helps the population we serve.

Qualifications for this position:

- Available to work between the hours of 8am-5pm M-F (You do not have to be available all of those hours but the hours you are available fit within this time frame.)
- Are a Board Certified Behavior Analyst/ or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB and AL Licensing Board OR you have completed your necessary coursework or are soon to complete it and are preparing to sit for your board exam to become a BCBA or BCaBA
- Must have relevant experience assessing individuals with special needs using behavior based/ function based assessments. Familiarity with the following assessments is a plus: ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK.
- Must have relevant experience writing behavior reduction and behavior acquisition plans.
- Must have experience with verbal behavior programming, as well as DTT, NET, and Incidental Teaching (preferably across multiple environments: clinic, home, school, community)
- Must have a valid AL drivers license
- Must have a BCBA credential in good standing with the Board or soon to sit for exam.
- Must be a licensed BCBA in the state of AL or eligible to be licensed prior to start date, unless still in school.
- Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Must be First Aid certified or willing and able to obtain this prior to starting employment
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check including sexual abuse back ground check and child abuse screening.
- Must have reliable transportation
