One focus is on evidence-based, naturalistic, and play-based interventions for young children with autism. We also provide services to young adults and children who would benefit from a multi-faceted approach and behavior analytic services. Our main office is located in Denver but we are expanding services to the Roaring Fork Valley, Aspen to Glenwood Springs.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate professional in the field of Special Education or Applied Behavior Analysis as a full-time interventionist to provide therapy for clients in a variety of settings (home, school, and community).

What You’ll Do:
- Provide 1:1 therapy to young children, early and older elementary school-aged students in a variety of settings including the home, and the community, focusing on instruction in the naturalistic environment
- Provide 1:1 academic tutoring for elementary school-aged students in a variety of settings including school, home, and community
- Keep children engaged in motivating, naturalistic, intensive therapy throughout the treatment session
- Collect data daily during all treatment sessions
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans and respond appropriately to all challenging behaviors
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst to make modifications to instruction, programming, or behavior plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide uniform, high-quality treatment
- Attend monthly team meetings for all clients
- Hours of therapy may range between 8 am-8 pm
What We Need:
- 2 years working with children with disabilities providing either ABA therapy or special education services as a teaching assistant, therapist or teacher
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, communication disorders, special education, behavior analysis or a related field
- Willingness to learn new therapeutic skills, focusing on naturalistic intervention in typical settings
- A love of learning and teaching, and a desire to improve your practice
- Physically able to perform job responsibilities (active movement, lifting up to 40 lbs.)
- Mode of reliable transportation
Our Preferred Experience:
- Current RBT Certification
- 2 years implementing ABA therapy with significant experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Natural Environment Training (NET), Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) or Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) therapy
- Some Master’s coursework in Early Childhood Special Education or Applied Behavior Analysis
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, communication disorders, special education, behavior analysis or a related field
