POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and guest-forward Guest Experience Associate – General Utility to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional support services while collaborating with Chef Partners and Bartender to craft an unforgettable experience for our guests from the moment they step into our establishment until they return!
The Little Grand Market is a vibrant local food hall and bar situated at the heart of the Grandview Crossing development. Spanning approximately 22,000 square feet, it showcases culinary delights from 10 local chef partners. The venue features an inviting indoor/outdoor bar area where guests can enjoy a variety of offerings. Open to both the public and residents of the surrounding community, The Little Grand Market offers a welcoming space for everyone to dine and socialize.
REPORTS TO: Guest Experience Manager and Assistant Guest Experience Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain and operate the dish tank.
- Clearing tables and prepping them for our guests.
- Cleaning the common areas daily.
- Manage collection & distribution of supplies to our chef partners.
- Restock and replenish supplies to bars as the shift progresses.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations and procedures.
- Being a rad co-worker, teammate, and leader, while remaining empowered to make decisions.
- Assuring the guests 5 senses are satisfied: good smells, clean tables, tasty drinks, great music, and a clean, vibin’ atmosphere.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have open availability and have reliable transportation.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule with daytime, and evening shifts.
- Eagerness to learn and expand on beverage knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Effective time management skills to manage a busy work environment. The ability to schedule and organize multiple jobs is critical.
- Ability to lift, stand, and reach for entirety of the scheduled shift.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to handle cash and manage the register.
