Concrete finisher foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete forming and finishing, with a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces, and collaborating with other trades to achieve project goals.

Duties

• Prepare and set up forms for concrete placement according to specifications.
• Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools to achieve desired texture and appearance.
• Work closely with other construction professionals, including carpenters and drywall installers, to ensure seamless integration of concrete work with other building elements.
• Perform renovations and repairs on existing concrete structures as needed.
• Operate concrete pumping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in concrete forming techniques and flooring installation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment.
• Experience in drywall installation and metal stud framing is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
