What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction and Remodeling Helper position at Thrive Construction LLC?
Overview:
We are a locally owned and operated construction company. We provide many services including, but not limited to the following.
-Bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, patio remodeling, metal building construction, minor landscaping, minor framing, small concrete projects, new construction, general contracting, maintenance, handyman services, and more!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all company activities under the guidance of experienced construction professionals.
- Use company supplied hand tools to complete tasks
- Prioritize gaining knowledge to further expand you abilities
- Participate in remodeling projects by assisting with demolition, framing, tiling, painting, drywall, etc
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and basic power tools.
- Ability and experience in at least some of the following skills.
Tiling, LVP floor installation, Hardwood floor installation, framing, drywall installation, drywall finishing, painting, trim, caulking, concrete pouring and finishing, job site cleaning, heavy lifting, minor plumbing, minor electrical, using a tape measure within 1/16", and a willingness to learn any of these skills that you're not familiar with.
You will be working side by side with the owner daily. Due the close proximity of our working relationship we believe our new hires will be more than employees, but part of the family. We have high expectations for whoever comes aboard!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
