Job Title: Business Development and Community Outreach Coordinator

Status: Part-time

Reports to: Practice Coordinator

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Supervises others: No

Compensation: $26-30/hour

Position Summary: The Business Development and Community Outreach Coordinator

is responsible for expanding the practice’s referral network, building relationships with local organizations for the purpose of creating community partnerships, collaborations, and contracts aimed at driving business growth, and supporting general marketing and visibility efforts. This role is accountable for generating increased website traffic and driving new inquiries for services.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue connection with new referral sources like primary care providers, schools, colleges, businesses, hospitals, and community organizations
  • Initiate strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals, educational institutions, government agencies, and corporate wellness programs to increase referrals and contracts
  • Coordinate participation at community events, networking meetings, and industry conferences
  • Explore potential grant and contract opportunities to expand services and programs
  • Develop messaging that effectively communicates our services and value to potential referral partners and clients
  • Create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, digital ads, and social media content to support outreach efforts
  • Craft email and outreach campaigns tailored to different audiences, including potential referral sources and corporate partners
  • Work with internal staff to promote events, trainings, and services through strategic marketing efforts
  • Find and monitor our participation in local directories in-network provider directories with our contracted insurance companies.
  • Engage in local promotional and advertising opportunities
  • Plan and coordinate informational sessions, networking events, and workshops to increase awareness and engagement
  • Partner with local organizations to host collaborative events that align with our mission and services
  • Monitor industry trends and identify gaps in community needs where our services could provide solutions
  • Maintain a database of referral sources, partnership contacts, and outreach activities
  • Track and analyze referral trends, partnership success, and marketing effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports on new opportunities, outreach efforts, and community impact

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage professionals across various industries
  • Ability to identify opportunities for growth and strategically align them with our services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in marketing or creating persuasive messaging
  • Ability to work independently and proactively while collaborating with internal teams
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, email marketing platforms, and ClickUp
  • Technology Skills: Highly proficient with Google Workspace, Canva, email marketing platforms, and ClickUp
  • Ability to create and analyze data using spreadsheets, formulas, reporting, and other analytical tools

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing/business development role, to include developing marketing materials, running email campaigns, and creating outreach content
  • Experience working in the mental health industry or other healthcare-related setting preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred

Schedule & Work Hour Requirements:

  • Part time, approximately 15 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday

Work Location

  • Position may be performed in-office, remotely, or hybrid.
