Job Title: Human Resources Systems and Data Analyst
Position: Full-Time
Department: Human Resources
Location: Onsite, Modesto, CA
The Human Resources Systems and Data Analyst will maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization’s HRIS, ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department.
Essential Functions Include:
- Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of custom reports for ongoing business needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running reports and analyzing data.
- Assess current system and utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS.
- Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRMS system tables. Document process and results.
- Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to the HR Total Rewards Director and other company leaders.
- Identify, recommend, and program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Collaborate with other payroll and HR team members to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS and to test new applications and features.
- Prepare training materials, guides, and documentation.
- Provide user training and hands-on support.
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, Data Analytics or related field required.
- At least three years of experience with HR business systems
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work independently
- Demonstrated ability to work at a high level of accuracy and have the knowledge to implement audit reports.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
- Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
- Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CA knowledge of human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
